There are more and more guerrilla statues on the streets of Budapest, and you know what? I couldn’t be happier, it enlivens the city.
Not much is known about the mysterious wooden statue that appeared in Budapest in 2019, apart from the fact that a gentleman, named Dima Shlyonkin (in Cyrillic letters Дима Шленкин), placed it on the Buda side of the Danube.
Looking very good and is an amazing photo material, if you ask me!
At first glance, it’s a human figure with some kind of tribal, Native American motif.
At second glance, also.
Next to it is a tent or a bonfire (or… it depends on your imagination). The overall picture is super, the choice of location is fantastic!
If you want to take a look at it in person, you can do so between the Liberty Bridge and the Elisabeth Bridge by searching the wharf. By the time we found it, people were already looking for it on the upper wharf. We guided them.
